If the issue persist afterwards, another workaround can be tried. The user then needs to restart after clicking Allow to start the service. Once disabled try to enable the kernel extension for GP under System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General and then by clicking the Allow button. Until the user approves the KEXT, future load attempts will cause the approval UI to reappear but will not trigger another user alert. This approval UI is only present in the Security & Privacy preferences pane for 30 minutes after the alert. This is the error message from the logs: 10:13:17.062325: Failed to load KEXT pangpd_10.9.kext, error sys_libkern:sub_libkern_kext (0x37:0x2:0xd) It doesn’t load unsigned extensions at all. OS X blocks signed extensions from loading. The linked article has all the explanations. However, if the previous troubleshooting did not work, the issue could persist because Apple added an extra layer of complexity in 10.13.

Afterward, GlobalProtect should be able to move past the "Connecting" phase and will prompt for username and password as usual. Once the password has been entered, click "Always allow". The password should be the computer's Admin password, or their Apple ID password. It will ask for permission for GlobalProtect to use confidential information from the Keychain. Once the computer restarts and GlobalProtect restarts upon booting back up, there will eventually be a prompt that pops up. Properly restart the computer by clicking restart, and making sure the "Reopen windows when logging back in" is unchecked as shown here: This issue could be related to a security setting for the Mac Keychain. If that doesn't work, try the following: Remove the GlobalProtect Enforcer Kernel Extension Additional Troubleshooting

I guess some work is still needed when it comes to USB 3.0 drivers and especially backwards compatibility with USB 2.0. So then I switched my USB connections around a bit until I could give the S4 it's own dedicated, unshared USB 2.0 port and now it works fine. The first Blue Screen Windows 7 has shown me in two years of use I may add. Upon starting the Traktor software, Windows 7 froze and presented me with a Blue Screen (BSOD). No problem, I thought, I've still got 2 native USB 3.0 porst free, I'll simply connect it to one of those. It needs its own "hub" port, most likely for power reasons (even with the PSU connected to the S4). I quickly found out that it's not a good idea to connect the S4 to a USB 2.0 port which shares its bandwidth with another USB connection like the keyboard or something because then the Traktor software simply doesn't start for me and freezes. So last week I bought myself an S4 and connected it up to my system. This Z77 chipset is the first chipset which suports USB 3.0 natively, so without any add-on chips (mostly from NEC) like was done before.

Twee weeks ago I upgraded my PC with to a new Core i5 system with a Gigabyte Z77 chipset motherboard. Thank you so much.i waiting one month for new drivers ,but still haven't any news, now I try this,my MacBook air 2012 usb3 work with s4 now! Here is the link It is a bit inconvenient but the best current solution. If you want to run your USB 3.0 devices at native speed, just reinstall the backup'd Kext file. This is 100% on Apple and Intel for driver incompatibility.ĮDIT: Just an FYI, this will cause all USB 3.0 devices run at USB 2.0 speeds. Just my opinion, everyone needs to stop bashing on Native Instruments, it's clearly not their fault. I hope this helps and let me know if you have questions.
